The Splat: Share the Mess… including Nearly NCYC!

We invite you to come together as we creatively develop skills and knowledge in leadership and ministry with young people. In an innovative and unique way this weekend will engage, enthuse and empower you to make a difference and share with the young people you connect with. The use of modern technology, multiple spaces, panels, fishbowls, rants, creative response space and of course coffee* means this Splat weekend will be like no other training event in 2013.
The Splat: Share the Mess will have input from many UCA leaders who will journey with you for the weekend. This means your network of contacts to call upon when you hit a roadblock will grow just from being at this event! Input topics include leadership skills, transformational mission, todays culture, school ministry, mental health, worship and many more. And of course we want to hear your creative and innovative ideas so come ready to share!
After a day of thinking, sharing and coffee, Saturday November 16 at 5pm will be the start of the ‘NEARLY NCYC’ event: a chance to invite your friends, let your hair down, relax and think a little bit about attending Yurora NCYC14. We will start with a worship space, share in dinner (bring $5) and take each other on in the Nearly NCYC Trivia Night! ($10). The Trivia night will be raising money for disadvantaged and overseas delegates to get to Yurora NCYC14!
If you need to continue the fun into the early hours or have travelled a long way billeted accommodation is available.
This training is for anyone from ‘high school to old school’ so get your team together, lock in this weekend, register early and get ready to be inspired and equipped to make a difference!
