Can’t wait to share with Modeleze that we do care about our Traffik-Free Chocolate, here in Australia!

Thank you!

What:

Stop the Traffik: Traffik-Free Toblerone

This year on Friday 18th October, Anti-Slavery Day, we’re sending Mondelez a message. We’re asking them to take urgent action to help end child trafficking in the cocoa industry.

We’re asking them two things:

  1. When will Toblerone be traffik-free?
  2. When will they release a pubic timeline committing to certifying the rest of their range?

Yet, despite their recent announcements about cocoa sourcing there are still no clear answers to our questions.

We need your help to get Mondelez’s attention!

Join us in delivering a message to Mondelez.

Why Mondelez?

Mondelēz are one of the world’s biggest chocolate companies. Like other chocolate companies they have known about child trafficking into their industry since 2001.

In November 2012 we welcomed their statement to invest $400m into ‘sustainable cocoa’, and in July this year they released more information about what the focus of this would be, but failed to provide specific targets or deadlines. We are asking for more direct action and information.

There are still no clear details about when specific bars such as Toblerone will be made with certified cocoa beans, and when they will commit to certification for the rest of their range.

Together we can STOP THE TRAFFIK

Alanee and Carolyn
